Pierre Gustave Toutant de 'G.T.' Beauregard (1818-1893). Confederate General, Commanded the southern forces at Charleston, S.C. that bombarded Fort Sumter, was also a writer, civil servant, and inventor; served as a major under Winfield Scott during the Mexican-American War. .

Fine Signature on a slip of paper, measuring 4 in. by 2.5 in., dated 1870. Reads: "G.T. Beauregard 1870". Beautiful paraph beneath his signature. Light soiling, overall, very good. $695.00
